Shipping Policy
Sharkthane only ships via UPS.
Orders and shipping are only processed during business hours. Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm PST. Sharkthane operates warehouses across the United States to ensure your shipment arrives on time.
Once payment has completed processing, orders will be shipped the next day. If your order is placed before 12 noon PST, your order could be shipped the same day. If you want to request a "Rush Order", UPS Air, or other special shipping info, please enter these at checkout in the shipping notes text box. We have no problem accommodating your shipping requests. If we have any questions we will contact you.
UPS Delivery
Your shipping charges are based upon UPS ground service and is a scaled flat rate. UPS requires a deliverable physical address - generally PO Boxes are not acceptable.
For those placing orders from Alaska or Hawaii, or for all international locations, please call for shipping charges. Large shipments to Alaska will be shipped by barge, freight collect.
There will be a surcharge of $30.00 per package for all hazardous material shipments. This will cover the cost of the UPS hazardous shipping charges as well as the required UN box for packaging. Where more than 2 hazardous products are ordered, we recommend you call us so that we can determine the least expensive method of shipping. Please note that it is not legal to package hazardous materials of different hazard classes in the same package. However, hazardous goods of the same class may be packaged together.
UPS has a size and weight limitation. The maximum size per package is 130 inches in length and girth combined. Maximum length per package is 108 inches. Packages measuring over 60 inches in length will have an additional handling charge of $5.00. This will apply to all fiberglass cloth 60" or more in width (unless folded). The maximum for domestic shipments the maximum weight per package is 150 lbs. Light weight but bulky items that are between 84" and 108" in length plus girth combined, but weigh less than 30 lbs. are charged at the 30 lb. rate. Should any of the size and weight limitations result in additional charges, you will be notified.
Bulk Shipments: Due to UPS size and weight limitations, truck freight may be used for loads that are heavy, bulky or contain hazardous items. Truck freight may not be available for non commercial deliveries. Please call for estimate.
